Who We Are
What we do, and who builds it
Realis Technology is a U.S. company based in Menlo Park, California. We deliver production automation and precision instruments across the US, Canada and Mexico. We are the party you contract with, and we are responsible for the system reaching your floor and staying up.
The engineering and manufacturing come from a network of partners we select, qualify and manage — matched to the scope rather than forced into one supplier. Precision instruments, components and semiconductor supply chain each run through partners chosen for that work.
Our automation partner is Linking Automation, a Shanghai engineering firm that has been building turnkey assembly and test lines since 2011 for tier-1 automotive suppliers including Schaeffler, Magna, Continental, Sanden and Huayu Automotive. We hold exclusive North America distribution for them.
Linking brings the engineering and manufacturing depth: mechanical, electrical, controls and software design, built and factory-tested in their own workshop. We bring the commercial relationship — you buy from a U.S. company, on a U.S. contract, in your time zone and language, with Linking's engineers on every technical call.
From first enquiry to a running line, everything on the commercial side of the project is ours. The split is set out below.

Who does what
We hold the customer relationship and the contract. Partners do the engineering and the manufacturing — for automation systems, that is Linking Automation.
Your side of the table
- Sales & commercial — requirement scoping, quotation, negotiation, contract and payment terms
- Project coordination — meetings run in your time zone, technical translation in both directions, milestone tracking, change management and acceptance coordination
- Installation management — freight, customs clearance and duties, site scheduling, engineer travel and visas, and the interface with your plant
- Compliance & contracting — US contracting entity, liability terms, insurance, and safety requirements (UL 508A control panels, NFPA 79, ISO 13849 / ANSI B11) agreed in writing before design begins
- Commercial & financial — domestic invoicing and payment, currency and transfer terms handled on our side, not yours
- After-sales — spare parts sourcing and stocking, warranty claims and support tickets, tracked to closure

Recognized, not self-declared
Beyond ISO 9001:2015, Linking Automation holds China's National High-Tech Enterprise designation — a state assessment of R&D spend, patent output and technical staff ratio, reassessed every three years. It is audited, not applied for.
Where the IP actually sits
The patents cover working technology, not paperwork: CNC loading and unloading devices, fully automatic deburring for cast iron, vision-guided handling robots, multi-axis synchronous following control, robotic riveting stations, deep-learning defect detection and a production-line cloud data platform.

Mechanical, electrical, controls and software teams work under one roof, backed by two dedicated R&D centers. Core engineering is never subcontracted — the people who design your system are the people who debug it before it ships.
