What We Do

What we take on

Most of what we do is contained: a fixture, a test station, a retrofit, a design, a parts program. Complete production lines are where the engineering behind it comes from.

01
Equipment

Equipment & Retrofit

Contained pieces of production hardware — the scope most engagements start with, sized to fit one capital approval rather than a plant program.

  • Tooling and fixture packages, including quick-change tooling for variant changeover
  • Retrofit and modernization of machines you already own — new handling, new stations, new data
  • End-of-line test stations: leak, electrical, functional, NVH, gauging
  • Single robotic work cells for machine tending, finishing and handling
02
Instruments

Precision Instruments & Components

One-off precision instruments and fixtures for applications where catalog products do not fit. For manufacturers, research groups and university labs.

  • High-precision thickness measurement fixtures, built around one part and one measurement
  • Precision positioning: air-bearing linear guideways, rotary tables and spindles, hydrostatic guideways
  • Granite metrology bases and air-isolated opto-mechanical assemblies
  • Semiconductor-grade precision machined parts and precision optical component machining
  • Built by a precision equipment partner whose own products are ultra-precision machine tools

03
Engineering

Engineering & Design

Design work delivered as a design — mechanical, electrical, controls and software. Optionally built afterwards by the same team that drew it.

  • Machine, fixture and cell design from your requirement or process description
  • Process assessment, automation concept, line layout and takt design
  • Feasibility and budgetary estimates before capital is committed
  • We sell a result, not engineering hours — the deliverable is a design that can be built
04
Parts

Parts & Aftermarket

Components and spares supplied against a drawing or a specification, with someone on the U.S. side who can read the drawing and judge whether the supplier can hold it.

  • Spare and wear parts for equipment already running on your floor
  • Specified components procured to drawing, print or sample
  • Semiconductor supply chain — components and precision parts, through a dedicated partner
  • Supplier qualification and incoming inspection rather than order forwarding
05
Full Line

Production Lines

Complete assembly and test lines, from first operation to line-off. This is the capability the four scopes above rest on — and the reason a fixture or a parts program from us is backed by an engineering organization rather than a broker.

  • 30+ linked stations with automated transfer, in-process and end-of-line testing
  • Serial-level traceability written back to your MES at every station
  • Smart factory software: MES, WMS, MDC, DNC
  • Delivered at line cycle times from 12 to 90 seconds — see the case studies

Partners

Where the work gets done

Realis Technology holds the customer relationship and the contract. The engineering and manufacturing come from a network of partners we select, qualify and manage — matched to the scope rather than forced into one supplier.

Our automation partner is Linking Automation in Shanghai. Precision instruments and ultra-precision components run through a separate partner — air-bearing and hydrostatic motion, granite metrology structures, ISO 9001:2015. Semiconductor supply chain runs through a third.

Processes We Automate

What goes inside the systems

These are the operations that make up the stations and fixtures above — the reason a system holds its cycle time and its quality numbers.

The AI inspection, NVH classification, error-proofing and smart factory software behind these operations are covered in depth on the technology platform page.

Not sure which scope fits?

Send the part, the process or the measurement you need. That is enough to tell you whether it is a fixture, a station, a design package or a line.
